The experience
Picked up in an air-conditioned vehicle, you’ll head to a farm in Santa Rosa de Lima, 45 minutes from the city. On arrival you’re welcomed with a chicharrón tasting served with green plantain, yuca and pan con suero, before the show of Colombian Paso Fino horses — declared part of the nation’s genetic and cultural heritage. You’ll learn their history and styles and, under our team’s guidance, feel the smoothness of their gait.
At midday we head to the Aria hotel in Manzanillo del Mar, 20 minutes from the walled city, where you can have lunch, enjoy the facilities and swim in the sea-view pool. Relax by the beautiful sea before your 5 pm transfer back to your hotel.
