The experience
After pick-up, we head to the beaches of Manzanillo del Mar, 20 minutes from Cartagena’s walled city. First you’ll visit our traditional ranch to meet the Colombian Paso Fino horse — declared part of the nation’s genetic and cultural heritage — in a one-hour show covering its history and styles. Then we transfer to the beach for the ride.
Before starting, the guide assesses each rider and gives instructions. If you can’t ride, we’ll show you and keep someone on foot beside you the whole time, with the guide riding alongside throughout. For an hour to an hour and a half you’ll enjoy the sound of the waves and the sea breeze and connect with your horse.
