The experience

A unique full-day ride, just 30 minutes from San Martín de los Andes. The farm offers private riding for every level, from first-timers to experienced riders.

After introductions, we saddle up and ride up into the mountains through native forest, stopping here and there for photographs and to drink in the silence and the peace of the scenery. You’ll spend around 6 hours in the saddle with a multilingual guide, crossing prairies and native forest with beautiful views of Lago Lolog.

At the top of the mountain we stop for a picnic lunch — salami, cheese, hearty meat and vegetable sandwiches and something sweet to finish, with wine and water. Back at base camp, before we say goodbye, there’s time to share a mate, the traditional Argentine hot drink. Children (from 10) can come along and enjoy a gentle pony ride.
