A half-day ride linking Q’enqo, the Temple of the Moon, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay and mighty Sacsayhuamán — Inca history on horseback.

Quick facts

The experience

After meeting your guide and a briefing, private transport takes you to the archaeological site of Q’enqo for a tour, then on to the ranch for the horses and a safety talk. You’ll ride to the Temple of the Moon, then uphill to the Huayllarccocha community to visit Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, before riding down to the Devil’s Balcony for a picnic lunch around 12:30. Back at the ranch by 14:00, you’ll then visit Sacsayhuamán — the greatest example of Inca architecture and engineering in the city — before returning to Cusco.
