The experience
Starting from our field, we cross a settled area and reach the eastern shore of Lago Moreno, riding the long beach to the Casa de Piedra river, with spectacular views toward the López, Capilla, Bella Vista and Goye peaks.
We then take trails into towering coihue forest and reach the first lookout on the slopes of Cerro Campanario, with views over Lake Nahuel Huapi and the San Pedro peninsula. Around the hill you’ll see Laguna El Trébol, Lago Moreno and the surrounding peaks from different angles, before heading back through forest and pampa perfect for a gallop. A delicious Argentine asado is waiting on your return.
